Tim Dexter is our head fabricator and creative designer.  He always loved making things. Tim pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has more than 10 years of experience in prototyping.  The projects he has worked on are for diverse companies, from movie and stage productions to door locks, car parts and key chains.  He has also done difficult color matching for a company whose spokesperson likes to wander wisely. Tim adopted a stray kitten who has become second in command in the workshop, and is the official tester and inspector for many products. Tim loves to travel off the beaten path.  He has visited the underside of the Golden Gate Bridge and the inside of an Italian Carrera marble mine.  Pictures of people are outnumbered by pictures of old medieval doors, hinges, locks and interesting construction bits and pieces.

Mr. Pandy Bear

Our “greeter” and general supervisor is Mr. Pandy Bear.  When he applied for the job he was quite young and inexperienced. However, he was very persistent and his consistent friendliness and outgoing ways convinced us to give him a try.  He quickly won everyone over and became a valued member of the team.  Mr. Pandy oversees almost all steps in the development of a prototype or a new product.  Here he is showing his approval of the first Katasan chair.
